burrawang

Any of various cycads of the genera Macrozamia and Cycas, especially Macrozamia communis, a tree with fronds yielding edible nuts.

Another plant that is toxic if left untreated is the burrawang (Zamia spiralis [syn. of Macrozamia spiralis]).

A locality in the Wingecarribee council area, south eastern New South Wales, Australia.
