Someone who spends most of their time at a desk (usually working)

Being a "deskie," over time, somehow proved simultaneously interesting and dull.

This, in the long run, gave me the rich experience of a deskie as well as in reporting, something which no journalism school would probably offer.

In virtual reality games, one who uses the desktop version of that game.
