§ 221. -dom < [dəm], e.g. [frīdəm] freedom; [kindəm] kingdom; [wizdəm] wisdom.

Jesus continued, "What does the kindom [KJV kingdome] of God resemble? To what will I liken it? […]

The assumption will of be that the concretization of God's kindom always involves an oikonomia or household.

But this is not the Kindom of God that Jesus proclaimed. Let us consider the parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price. The Kindom involves both search and surprise.
