A loose-weave fabric made of fiberglass, used for insulation.

A fiberglass skrim insulator was layed^([sic]) on. • The aluminum honeycomb was layed on each surface of the rhombus. • A second fiberglass skrim cloth was layed on.

The complete jacket is a lamination of kraft paper, fiberglass cloth (skrim) and either aluminum foil or metalized film.

Alternative form of scrim.

AN IDEA for achieving a dramatic feet in some of your school plays at Christmas or other time's is a skrim curtain such as that used in the Northern Illinois State Teachers College production, "It is Written in the Code."

Alternative form of scrim.

Now nearly all tufted carpeting is made with an extra "skrim" backing of jute, which has eliminated the problem. Some inexpensive carpeting, however, is still made without a skrim back.
